Esmond Wong established Laksa King in the year 1998. The restaurant began in a small arcade off Racecourse Rd, Flemington. With the growing popularity of the restaurant, Esmond had to look for bigger premises and so Laksa King was moved to its current location in 2010. The menu too was expanded to include some house favourites. The extensive food variety meets the demands of the loyal and more experienced culinary enthusiasts.
