Giacomo Palladin moved from Venice to Sydney - and brought his palate with him. Since 2013, Ombretta has been serving interpretations of classic Italian dishes.

The small Venetian menu uses only local and sustainable produce, and all Italian ingredients are DOP certified (Denominazione di Origine Protetta). This dedication to authenticity awarded Ombretta the prestigious Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Award ‘Ospitalità Italiana’, 2016. Monthly regional degustation evenings and wine tasting events are part of the Ombretta rhythm.
