By creating an account, submitting a business listing, or otherwise using the Platform, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.
2. Description of Services
Global Directory Services operates an online business directory that connects users ("Searchers") with businesses and service providers ("Listed Businesses") across various industries. We provide search, discovery, and informational tools to help users find local and national businesses.
3. User Accounts
3.1 Registration
To access certain features, you may be required to create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep this information updated.
3.2 Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
3.3 Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, provide false information, or engage in fraudulent or harmful activity.
4. Business Listings
4.1 Accuracy of Information
Businesses submitting listings ("Listing Owners") are solely responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and legality of the information provided, including business name, services, contact details, and location.
4.2 Content Standards
Listings must not contain false, misleading, defamatory, obscene, or unlawful content. We reserve the right to review, edit, reject, or remove any listing at our sole discretion.
4.3 No Endorsement
Inclusion of a business in our directory does not constitute an endorsement, guarantee, or verification of that business's quality, reliability, or legitimacy. Users engage with Listed Businesses at their own discretion and risk.
4.4 Listing Ownership
By submitting a listing, you grant Global Directory Services a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, reproduce, and distribute the submitted content in connection with operating and promoting the Platform.
5. User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms
- Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information
- Impersonate any person or business
- Scrape, harvest, or collect data from the Platform without authorization
- Interfere with or disrupt the security or functionality of the Platform
- Post spam, malware, or unauthorized advertising
6. Reviews and User-Generated Content
6.1 Users may be permitted to submit reviews, ratings, or comments about Listed Businesses. Such content must be honest, based on genuine experience, and must not violate any third party's rights.
6.2 We reserve the right to remove reviews or content that we determine, in our sole discretion, to be fraudulent, abusive, defamatory, or in violation of these Terms.
6.3 By submitting content, you grant Global Directory Services a license to use, display, and distribute that content in connection with the Services.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on the Platform, including logos, trademarks, design, text, and software (excluding user-submitted content), is the property of Global Directory Services or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reproduce any part of the Platform without prior written consent.
8. Third-Party Links and Services
The Platform may contain links to third-party websites or services not owned or controlled by Global Directory Services. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third-party sites. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk.
9. Disclaimers
9.1 THE PLATFORM AND ALL SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
9.2 We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any business listing, review, or content submitted by third parties.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Global Directory Services shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, arising from your use of or inability to use the Services, whether based on warranty, contract, tort, or any other legal theory.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Global Directory Services, its officers, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.
12. Privacy
Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
13. Modifications to Terms
